They told him like 5 or 6 times within a half hour to take the tie off. I am a Packer fan, but if your boss gives you a simple request like that you should do it, otherwise it’s insubordination.

I’m a huge Bears fan but this is just wrong. I would file a lawsuit against that car dealership for that.

I see both sides. First, a Packer fan should not have a job in Chicago! Just kidding! The problem seems to be communication, but the boss said it might offend the customers after the game. I think that was stupid reason for not to be able to wear the tie, but he then should have not pressed it and wore the tie! He was offered his job back, but I think he had offers at other dealerships.
